Drive to the moon and back

Well another few months has passed, kinda scary how quick it goes, time does fly I guess..

Quite a bit of surf since the start of Autumn, I even went for a bit of a drive south chasing some slabs. It's been pretty much 6yrs to the day since I've seen any waves of consequence so yeah the drive was definitely worth it standing on the reef only a few meters away watching these heavy waves break on the dry slab with such force that the reef shook! It's not far from where I was meant to work before the fires happened then covid, the drive would've been alot shorter...

May has been an exceptional month for surf and looks like next week will be pumping too, so might be another trip south on the cards but to somewhere different and not as far. Ohh by the way you will be getting some pretty amazing surf next week, you have a bit of a low brewing off the tip of NZ which is what will bring the surf to here, hopefully.

Anyways here's a few shots from the last while, a couple of drone shots too and the one of Hinze dam is spilling at 117% full.

Ohhh a new version of my drone video, I tweaked it a little. WATCH IT TO THE END, there's a short bit from the wrecks 3yrs ago...!

Enjoy

Don't forget to tap on the cog wheel and tap on "720" then hit the full screen square box button to the right of it to watch.
